Instruction


Timing: Please make sure that your presentation is well timed. Please keep in mind that the program is full and that the speaker after you would like their allocated time available to them.

For short papers, on the 18th November, the authors of short papers will give a 10-minute talk each during the short paper oral presentation session. On the 19th November, there is a poster session that allow the interested people to see the poster and discuss with the authors in detail. The posters should be of size A1 (23.4x33.1 inches).

For full papers, the authors have 25 minutes for presentation and Q&A.

Presentation: You can use CD or USB flash drive (memory stick), make sure you scanned viruses in your own computer. Each speaker is required to meet her/his session chair in the corresponding session rooms 10 minutes before the session starts and copy the slide file(PPT or PDF) to the computer.

It is suggested that you email a copy of your presentation to your personal inbox as a backup. If for some reason the files can't be accessed from your flash drive, you will be able to download them to the computer from your email.

Please note that the session room will be equipped with a LCD projector, screen, point device, microphone, and a laptop with general presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Reader. Please make sure that your files are compatible and readable with our operation system by using commonly used fronts and symbols. If you plan to use your own computer, please try the connection and make sure it works before your presentation.

Posters: The posters must be of size A1 (23.4x33.1 inches). The location to put up the posters will be informed at registration.

Keynote Sessions


MIWAI 2018 will feature 2-3 keynote sessions from distinguished researchers all around the world. The following speakers have been confirmed:

  • Professor Phan Minh Dung, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand

    Phan Minh Dung currently holds the Professor title in the Department of Computer Science at Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. Professor Dung's research interests span the area of Logic Programming, MultiAgent Computing, Trust and Security, and Artificial Intelligence.
